4. KarmaThe one who does good karma will be granted a hundred births of His own and in His turn will help His own and others. Karmas will be fulfilled at the time of the birth of the child. The present birth will produce good and bad results for him. 5. MandalaThere is a rich pattern of life and a system of cause and effect. Every thought, speech or activity of yours will cause a reaction in life. A pattern of life is called a mandala. One thought or speech will have a positive or negative reaction. So we must choose a positive thought. The mental choices we make will have a positive impact on the present situation. 6. DhyanaTo practice meditation, one must fix one's attention on the point of contact between the conscious and the subconscious mind. This is known as Dhyana. The subconscious mind works at a much deeper level. 7. JivatmaJivatma is the soul which lives within us. It can manifest its powers of knowing, will and action on this plane. When you are angry, it is the Jivatma which manifests its anger. The Jivatma is the Master of Life. It is the soul and the source of energy. When the soul manifests its powers of knowing, willing and action through the Jivatma, one is called a Jivan Mukta. 8. SadhanaSadhana is the process of doing to reach a goal. To become a Jivan Mukta, one must practice meditation and yoga. Each practice is a way to reach the goal. 9. PurushaThe word Purusha is derived from the Sanskrit word purusha, which means “space”. It is the pure state of being. The absolute. It is eternal. It is the eternally active unit of pure consciousness. It is the source of all life. It manifests itself as all matter and energy. There is no space outside of Purusha. It is of all shapes, sizes and dimensions. It is the field of all possibilities. It is also the field of pure consciousness. It is the basis of all creation. It is the ultimate reality. The ultimate truth. It is beyond the concept of time. It has no beginning and no end. It is the perfect state of pure consciousness. 10. YogaYoga is a Sanskrit word, which means “to yoke”. It is the process of unifying the two elements of our being. The conscious and the subconscious mind.
